We study endocytosis – the process by which cells absorb substances from outside by engulfing them in a vesicle. Our work traverses scales and disciplines deciphering protein interactions within the endosomal fusion machinery, defining processes establishing hepatocyte polarity, and understanding the biophysics behind liver tissue formation.
