L’Oréal-UNESCO For Women in Science”

These fellowships are awarded annually to 275 excellent scientists, at national and regional ceremonies. In Germany, it is supported by the German UNESCO Commission and the L'Oréal Group Germany, in partnership with the Christiane Nüsslein-Volhard Foundation. A total of 3 “L’Oréal-UNESCO For Women in Science” fellowships three scholarships of 20,000 euros each year are awarded. With the financial support young women researchers can use their scientific potential to the full and gain more time for their scientific work and international mobility. In addition, a contribution is made to improving the compatibility of work and family life at the respective research institution of the scholarship holder. The award ceremony of L’Oréal-UNESCO for Women in Science will be held at the 5th Annual Summit of Global Female Leaders in June 2018.

In our group, Anne studies the role of the endosomal system in liver physiology, aiming to provide insights into disease mechanisms.
